This necklace has been kicking around in my mind for a very long time. I actually cast these maple pod seeds almost a year ago, and it finally came together when I found these Oregon Sunstones for the eyes.  I followed with four Opals for the body.  Sunstone is a stone of joy, and Opal stimulates imagination & creativity.  Maple is said to symbolize balance & longevity. The dragonfly is a powerful symbol for me, as it represents so many things I am focusing on in my life right now- transformation, rebirth, strength, courage, and also joy. The back of this one says “strength” and “courage”.
 
It measures 3 3/4" x 2" and is on a 16" patterned oval cable chain with a lobster clasp.
